The purpose of this blog is solely for me. The entries are nothing but my ramblings. I do no proofreading, no editing, no filtering. 100% honest thoughts. Will this help me lose weight? I don't know. We'll see. "They" say to keep a weight-loss journal. I've never done it in the past, and that didn't really work. So now I'm going to try it. I'm not sure who needs more luck, me, or anyone who comes across this blog and actually reads it!

Vacation

I’m so excited to be going on vacation next week.  We were going to Arizona, but then Cathleen moved, and we didn’t have much money anyway.  So we’re going to be in Wendover from Sunday – Wednesday next week.  Buffets and Pizza Hut, here we come!  Then later in the week we’ll probably go to Topaz Mountain.  Eating out for lunch and dinner that day.  Just being home, enjoying ourselves will be a good vacation.  I’m pleased that I’m not worrying about my diet.  I plan to enjoy all that vacation has to offer.  If I gain 10 pounds – so be it.  More realistically, I’ll gain about 5 pounds.  But then my body will lose a lot after that too.  So I’m fine.  I’m going to try to keep up with other healthy habits, like drinking plenty of water, and getting my exercise.  Even if I do let my calories slide.  I can’t wait!
